Erasmus Mundus Graduate Scholarship Programme

Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for the Erasmus Mundus Scholarship.
Nigeria is now a participating Country in the Erasmus Mundus Scholarship programme and the University of Calabar is involved as a partner institution.
The Erasmus Mundus Programme is funded by the EU Commission on Education, Audiovisual and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA) under the Action II Project. The Action II project is a programme of partnership/cooperation between some European insitutions and developing Countries Known within the Agency as the ACP Regions (Africa, Caribbean and the Pacific)
The Scholarship allows students from any part of Nigeria to study in any of the European Partner Institutions in the following Countries: Czech Republic, Sweden, Bulgaria, France, Portugal, Lithuania, and Hungary.  The scholarship is for graduate studiesonly.
Students must return to their home country at the expiration of their, studies to apply the knowledge and skill they acquired to the development of the economy of their Country.
Application is open to all interested Nigerians irrespective of age, sex, religion, or disability
The scholarship is in three categories, viz: students exchange (for students currently registered in any Masters or Ph.D programme in a University in Nigeria); full degree programme (for full Masters or Ph.D studies); and staff exchange, programme (for staff development in organizations and parastatals whose staff may need an on the job training).
Refuges and other vulnerable groups are also encouraged to apply.
